Serena Deeb has been on fire in AEW lately. Deeb sent Riho packing back to Japan. Serena then issued a five-minute challenge where she shows young wrestlers how it’s done each week. The former WWE superstar is seeing a career revival and a renewed push with her latest heel character.

Serena calls herself “The Professor” and it’s easy to see why. A ton of professional wrestling experience comes out in every match. Now Serena has filed to protect that moniker via the US Patent and Trademark Office.

The AEW standout is looking to cash in on the character and gimmick. Paperwork was filed on February 15 by Serena Deeb to trademark “The Professor of Professional Wrestling.” The filing reads as follows:

“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”

Serena has continued to torture her opponents week in and week out. The women of AEW know that wrestling Serena Deeb allows theman opportunity to prove themselves. A title shot of some sort could be in Deeb’s future if she keeps it up. For now, fans can look forward to some cool new merch from The Professor of Professional Wrestling.
