WWE heads to Saudi Arabia this weekend for the Elimination Chamber premium live event. A ton of huge stars are scheduled to wrestle on the show, including Ronda Rousey. Rousey made a huge splash when she returned to WWE during this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match. Now the former MMA star will perform in one of the company’s most controversial venues.

Rousey will be involved in a tag team match that serves to further two major feuds heading into WrestleMania. Ronda will team with Naomi to take on Sonya Deville and Charlotte Flair. Sonya has been abusing her power as WWE official to roadblock Naomi’s ambitions for months. Ronda and Charlotte are on a WrestleMania collision course for the SmackDown women’s championship.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the match. Alvarez noted that he heard the bout would have a very interesting stipulation. The altered rules would make for a very strange match.

Alvarez said he has heard that the women’s tag team match would have a rule where Ronda Rousey has to wrestle with one arm tied behind her back. Meltzer was unable to confirm the rumor. Bryan said he expects an announcement to be made on tomorrow’s WWE SmackDown. Alvarez went on to claim that he was told this was the plan.

The stipulation hasn’t been confirmed by WWE at this point. Fans will have to see if WWE makes an announcement over social media or presents the change at SmackDown. The reaction to the switch could be interesting to keep an eye on.

The match will go down on Saturday, February 19. The show kicks off at a special start time of 12 PM. The WWE Universe can check out Elimination Chamber in its entirety on Peacock.
