WWE released several Superstars and members of staff since April of last year. Since then fans have been dreading the possibility of more releases in the company. This includes Tyler Breeze, who was released from the company back in June of last year.

Even Xavier Woods was told to stay away from Tyler Breeze. Tyler Breeze previously admitted that he was always prepared to be released from the company since the day Breeze was hired.

Breeze’s gimmick would always see him using his phone to admire himself and it became a hit with fans. While speaking to SK Wrestling, Austin Theory hit back at accusations that he is stealing Tyler Breeze’s gimmick. Theory made it clear he doesn’t think his selfie gimmick is a carbon copy of Breeze’s gimmick.

“You see stuff online where people are like, ‘It’s ripping this off, it’s ripping that off.’ To me, it’s a different way of doing it and I’m going about it a different way. Anything that people might have seen before or think they might have seen before, they don’t want to get along with it because they’re like, ‘Well, it’s already happened.’ But I think what I do is totally different.

If anybody has a different opinion to that, that’s theirs, but I think it’s gonna be great. I think it’s gonna be so great when I take that selfie in Saudi Arabia with the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber. People can tweet all they want that they hate that. It doesn’t matter because that’s a selfie that’s gonna be in the history books forever.”

Tommy Dreamer also recently urged Austin Theory to not blow his opportunity in WWE. Theory had a very strong showing during his first Royal Rumble match as he impressed many. We will have to wait and see how he will perform in the Elimination Chamber match on February 19th in Saudi Arabia.
