Kenny Omega’s AEW Contract Is Set To Expire Next Year

Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills have brought him worldwide fame and acclaim as he is touted as the best bout machine for good reason. His AEW World title reign had been excellent for many fans as he has competed in several high profile matches.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches with top pro wrestlers such as Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW. Omega is regarded as one of the all time-greats by many fans and it is not difficult to understand why.

Cody Rhodes shocked the pro wrestling world after it was announced that he and his wife Brandi are parting ways with AEW. This took place after he was already a free agent for over a month.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio prior to Cody Rhodes’ AEW departure, Dave Meltzer talked about rumors that WWE was looking to sign one of the founding members of AEW. While doing so, Meltzer revealed at Omega’s AEW contract will expire on February 1, 2023.

AEW is also likely planning huge Angle for Kenny Omega once he makes his return to AEW television this year. We will have to wait and see when Omega will come back to the company as fans are eagerly waiting for his return.
