Cody Rhodes’ Departure Was A Shocker For Many In AEW

Cody Rhodes shocked the wrestling world when news broke that he was leaving AEW along with his wife, Brandi Rhodes. The Rhodes’ are foundational members of the company. Cody and Brandi held on-screen and backstage positions from the very founding of All Elite Wrestling.

Fans were completely taken off-guard by the departure. Cody and Brandi had just recently signed renewal for their TNT reality series, Rhodes to the Top. The news was met with a lot of shock and confusion.

It wasn’t just the fans who were surprised. Andrew Zarian spoke about the issue on F4W Online earlier today. Many within AEW were surprised to hear the news.
