Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett were released by WWE in April 2020 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. Both of them made their way back to ROH and stayed there until the company took a hiatus in 2021. It seems Kanellis decided to give fans a treat yet again.

Maria Kanellis made her return to WWE back in 2017 as she and her husband Mike Bennett signed contracts together. Unfortunately, they were never utilized well in the company and ultimately floundered on the main roster.
