Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and became one of the mainstays of the company since then. He is also confident when it comes to AEW getting more fans due to its diverse product.

After almost three months away from the squared circle, the former AEW World Champion made his return during a previous week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Since then he has been engaged in an interesting storyline with Bryan Danielson.

During last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley came out as CM Punk’s mystery opponent as they squared off against FTR. The two teams put on a terrific match that reminded fans of the old school days of pro wrestling.

While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Jim Cornette talked about Jon Moxley’s performance in the match. Cornette gave Moxley huge props for actually wrestling in the match, adding that it was one of the best matches Jon Moxley has ever had.

“This is most definitely one of Moxley’s best matches he has ever had because they were not fighting on the floor. He was actually wrestling for a change!. They gave him time so that they could do what they need to do without rushing through it and there was no trampling business going on. These guys, except for Moxley, are all the top guys and some of the best in the world at what they do, I’m giving constructive criticism.”

We will have to wait and see how AEW will book Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson’s storyline in the coming weeks, as it could set up a match for AEW Revolution.
