Lita Looking Forward To Generational Clash With Becky Lynch

Lita made her surprising return to WWE at this year’s Royal Rumble. In very short order, Becky Lynch took aim at the WWE legend. The two have been angling for fight ever since it became an option.

The two are set for a huge match at the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event in Saudi Arabia. It’s a match the WWE Universe never thought could happen. Now, the two titans of the WWE women’s division are finally going to throw down.

Lita recently appeared on Ring the Belle to discuss her WWE return and the ongoing saga with Becky Lynch. The match is a dream for many fans. Lita believes the two wrestlers are kindred spirits.

“I think this match is like a true generational clashing match because we are very kindred spirits. She lives like a pirate, kind of took a very meandering journey to get to her spot in WWE. Same thing [for me] so I kind of cut from the same cloth. I saw a lot of her in me, as she was starting as I first just met her. And then to be at home and watch her catch fire. I was like, “Girl.” Not only did I know she had it, but also I was like, ‘Let me in there.'””

Lita is showing a ton of respect for her opponent. Becky hasn’t been doing the same. The bout has been a long time coming, though.

We’ll have to see how Lita does in her matchup with Becky Lynch when WWE once again travels to Saudi Arabia on February 19th. The WWE Raw Women’s Championship will be on the line. It will be a historic moment for women’s wrestling.
