The Miz Admits It Was Tough On Him See WWE Release John Morrison

The Miz is definitely one of the most established and decorated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. In addition to winning several championships in the company, The Miz also has his own reality show and acted in movies.

The A-Lister has also main evented WrestleMania once in his career. The Miz had a very rocky start to his WWE career and many believed he would get fired soon enough. However, he persevered and became one of the mainstays of the company.

The Miz’s career is also synonymous with John Morrison. as the two have a lot of history. The two became a tag team during their time in WWE’s version of ECW from 2007 until they eventually feuded against each other. When Morrison returned to WWE in 2019, he was immediately paired with The Miz until The Miz eventually turned on him last year.

While speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, The Miz talked bout John Morrison’s release from WWE. The Miz admitted that it was tough on him to see Morrison getting released.

“It’s always tough when your friends and your colleagues, you know, get released but you always wish for the best for them and you just, you do what you do. Like, you just keep going, you know, like when my buddy John Morrison, he got he got released. He was my tag team partner for a very long time and when he got released, I was like, oh man, you know? But I know John and I know the type of person he is and I know he’ll succeed and everything that he does.”

John Morrison, who is now known as Johnny Mundo again, will challenge Hijo del Vikingo at Rey de Reyes on February 19th for the AAA Mega Championship. We will have to wait and see who will come out on top in the match as there is no doubt fans will love the bout between the two gifted athletes.
