Ron Simmons will be joining Stone Cold Steve Austin as the next guest on Broken Skull Sessions. The former Florida State All-American made history in the early 1990s when he became the first black WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Simmons went onto a lengthy and versatile career where he saw and did just about all there is to see in wrestling.

The pair were famous for their cigar-smoking, no-nonsense poker games in the backstage area. Ron became incredibly famous for his catch phrase, “Damn!” Simmons also commanded respect from his fellow wrestlers due to his legitimate toughness.

The WWE Network announced the new episode via Twitter. The new show will drop on February 18, 2022, on Peacock in the U.S. and WWE Network elsewhere. There should be a ton for the two WWE legends to discuss.

“WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons joins @steveaustinBSR on the next episode of #BrokenSkullSessions, and it drops Friday, 2/18 exclusively on @peacockTV in the U.S. and @WWENetwork everywhere else…

DAMN!”

The importance of Ron Simmons in the professional wrestling landscape is often overlooked. Simmons was a legitimate football star at the highest level of competition in college. Ron was an absolute marvel to watch in the ring during his early days. Fans will have to check out the interview to see what these two wrestling icons have to talk about.
