AJ Styles has been able to deliver on some dream matches since he shockingly joined WWE at the 2016 Royal Rumble. Styles had a year-long reign as WWE Champion that saw him feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, Samoa Joe, and Daniel Bryan. Since then, AJ has become a fixture in WWE.

One match that hasn’t happened wasn’t even thought possible just a couple of years ago. AJ Styles has been very open about his desire to wrestle Edge. The Phenomenal One has been talking about potential matchup with the Rated R Superstar quite a bit lately.

AJ reiterated his desire to take on Edge at WrestleMania 38 on a recent appearance on Ryan Satin’s Out of Character. Styles said it’s the match that everybody wants to see. He also noted that it is completely out of his hands.

“Everybody has in mind the same guy that I do. We have the same idea. Will it happen? That’s not up to us.

So we’ll do what’s asked of us, we just hope we get the opportunity before both of us retire.”

AJ Styles and Edge would be an epic match. It’s bound to happen sooner or later. AJ Styles doesn’t see why it shouldn’t be at WrestleMania in Dallas.
