Danhausen surprised everybody when he was pulled from under the ring during the Lights Out match between Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break. The very nice, very evil star had massive amount of internet buzz after building one of wrestling’s funniest and most endearing characters. Soon after, Tony Khan announced that Danhausen is All Elite.

The spooky grappler has been affiliated with Best Friends in his first couple of AEW appearances. Orange Cassidy and Danhausen had Wheeler Yuta’s back during a recent bout. There have also been Danhausen sightings all over the vlogosphere and on various AEW web shows.

Tony Khan says that fans simply love that Danhausen. The AEW owner is happy to give the fans something they enjoy. In a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Khan talked about how the fans made Danhausen in AEW possible.

“Danhausen is a lot of fun. Speaking of Orange Cassidy, Danhausen is going to be closely associated with Orange Cassidy perhaps, we’ll see. Having seen them together in Wheeler Yuta’s corner and having seen Danhausen help Orange Cassidy in the great Lights Out match. I definitely think the fans enjoy Danhausen and I’m happy to give them what they want. I love listening to the fans.”

Danhausen hasn’t wrestled since what he refers to as “cursed Halloween.” The mysterious man from someplace far away suffered a broken leg at an independent event. Fanhausens are hoping he will be able to get back in the ring soon.

There are always going to be fans who don’t get on board with certain wrestling gimmicks. Danhausen is not for everybody. Even if you’re not a fan of it, you have to admire the hard work and care he puts into the character. Danhausen has willed himself to stardom, and Tony Khan is happy to have him on the AEW roster.
