Kurt Angle Believes AJ Styles Will Be As Good As Shawn Michaels

WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels is certainly one of the best in-ring performers to have ever graced a WWE ring. He was touted as Mr WrestleMania and he truly lived up to the moniker. It seems Kurt Angle compared him to AJ Styles recently as well.

Shawn Michaels has always exceeded expectations when it comes to performing in a match and many say that he was so good inside the ring, that Michaels could even have a believable match with a broomstick.

While speaking on his podcast, Kurt Angle talked about AJ Styles’ career in professional wrestling. He said that he believes Styles will reach Shawn Michaels’ level eventually.

Listen, let me tell you something about AJ Styles. Everybody has their best match with AJ. He has great chemistry with everybody. I would not necessarily put him up there with Shawn Michaels yet, but eventually, I will put him up there with Shawn Michaels. He is that good.

AJ was so talented. I think they wanted to keep handing me guys that could really work in the ring and make me look good since I was relatively new. AJ is the one guy that can actually do that.”

We will have to wait and see whether AJ Styles will leave behind a legacy as iconic as Shawn Michaels or not.
