Jade Cargill has been booked as an unstoppable force in AEW as she has run roughshod over the women’s division. Her dominant run in the company has led to her becoming one of the mainstays of the AEW women’s division as well. It seems she opened up about her AEW debut as well.

Cargill made her official pro wrestling debut for AEW during the November 11, 2020 episode of Dynamite. Cargill would then have her first match in the company, teaming up with Shaquille O’Neal and facing Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet in a tag team match. Cargill ended up picking up the win for her team.

While speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Jade Cargill talked about her debut in AEW. Cargill revealed that she was originally supposed to debut as a babyface but was told to be a heel the day she appeared on television.

“I was actually being groomed to be a babyface. So when they legit popped it on me like the day of, ‘you’re going through the heel tunnel,’ I was like, ‘what, huh? You’re telling me I am a heel? Okay, alright, let me look into this more.’ It was shocking, I had a whole come back.”

Jade Cargill was always going to win the TBS Women’s Championship as well. She also defended her title a couple of times already. We will have to wait and see how Cargill will be booked as the champion in the coming weeks.
