Welcome to Ringside News’ live results, highlights, winners and reactions for the January 31st 2022 episode of WWE RAW.

Start time for tonight’s show is 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page, so you should update frequently to get the latest happenings. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

We’re two days removed from a rather controversial Royal Rumble PPV where Brock Lesnar lost the WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley thanks to a Roman Reigns interference, but then entered number 30 in the Royal Rumble and won the match. Brock will obviously be setting his sights on Reigns and the turncoat, Paul Heyman, but fans felt the decision for Lesnar to win the Rumble was uninspired and predictable. So where does that leave Bobby Lashley? He’ll be defending his WWE Championship against five other men inside Elimination Chamber.

On the women’s side of things, Becky Lynch retained the RAW Women’s Championship against Doudrop in a match the fans in the arena really didn’t care about. Then Ronda Rousey returned in the Royal Rumble match and dumped Charlotte Flair over the ropes to win. WWE heavily teased Charlotte’s fury over Rousey’s win, potentially indicating a feud, however they’ve also teased a possible Lita Vs. Charlotte match. However we certainly can’t rule out a Triple Threat with Lynch, Flair, and Rousey once again.

What that means for tonight’s RAW though, is Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey will both be on hand. WWE.com says Brock will choose his WrestleMania opponent, but doesn’t say the same of Rousey, who will undoubtedly meet Becky Lynch tonight. Of course, Elimination Chamber is less than three weeks away, so anything could change plans between now and then.

And that’s the preview for tonight’s RAW. Our live coverage will begin from 8PM right here. Let us know if you’re excited about any of it and remember to hit the refresh link below and enjoy the show!

RAW

This week’s RAW opens with a look back at last night’s Royal Rumble event, where Bobby Lashley defeated Brock Lesnar to become the WWE Champion. Lesnar then entered the Rumble match at number 30 and won.

Adam Pearce is in the ring and he welcomes us to the show. He says Ronda Rousey will be on the show tonight for the first time in almost three years, as well as Brock Lesnar who will choose his opponent for the main event of WrestleMania. Before that, Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia in less than three weeks. Before Pearce can continue, he’s interrupted by the man himself.

MVP complains to Pearce and says Bobby Lashley went through Hell last night to become WWE Champion and now he has to defend it against five other men inside the most brutal match in WWE history? It’s BS! Lashley piles on and says he should be out celebrating, so who the Hell does Pearce think he is? Lashley says he already knew he was the better man, the better athlete and the better fighter. He beat Brock in the middle of the ring, so who’s the beast now? Who’s the Champion now?

Brock Lesnar’s music hits and the beast comes out wearing his ring gear. Brock walks to the ring with a grin on his face and does a lap before getting inside. Brock takes the microphone from Pearce and tells MVP to shut up or he’ll shove the cane up his @ss. Brock asks if Lashley is going to stand there and pretend he won fair and square? From one athete to another, where’s the pride in that? He only won because of Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns.

Brock isn’t mad at Lashley, he even gives him kudos for their match. He lost it but then entered the Royal Rumble and won it. And so he gets to choose his opponent at WrestleMania but Bobby doesn’t have to worry, because he’s facing Roman Reigns. However it does concern Bobby because, at WrestleMania, Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns will be title vs. title. See he’s dressed to fight, and he’s asking for his rematch right now!

Lashley is down and he says he can beat him again. MVP tries to talk him out of it and tells Brock he has to go to the back of the line. Lesnar shouts at Lashley that he’s a chicken $hit and Lashley goes nuts but MVP and Pearce keep trying to talk him down. Lashley gets out of the ring and leaves with MVP but Adam Pearce announces that Brock will be in the Elimination Chamber match!

Kevin Owens comes to the ring for a new episode of The Kevin Owens Show. Owens says Saturday night was exciting and it’s only going to get more so. They’re on the road to the most STUPENDOUS two-night WrestleMania in history. Owens says he will be in the Elimination Chamber match… as soon as he beats Austin Theory. But enough about that, tonight is all about his guest. A man who should be standing here as the Universal Champion: Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.

Owens thanks Rollins for being on the show. Seth says Cinncinati is the hottest city in the world so he wouldn’t miss it for the world. Owens shows some footage from Rollins’s match against Roman Reigns on Saturday night, where Roman intentionally got himself disqualified, then battered Seth with a chair. KO says what Roman did was disgusting and shameful. Reigns did it because he knew he couldn’t beat Rollins. KO says Seth is the Universal Champion of his heart.

Rollins laughs and says he might not have the Championship but he did acquire something else: a permanent piece of real estate in the brain of Roman Reigns. He can go back there whenever he wants and bring the Universal Title with him. But that’s SmackDown buisness and this is RAW. Rollins announces he will be in the Elimination Chamber match.

Owens is frustrated that Seth didn’t have to qualify and Rollins says Owens got eliminated from the Rumble. Owens says he couldn’t be happier for him. KO says they can find Pearce and Deville and convince them to let him be in the match without qualifying. Seth should threaten to walk away if they don’t. Rollins is reluctant but out comes Austin Theory before he can make a decision.

*Commercial Break*

The 2022 Royal Rumble winner, Rowdy Ronda Rousey, makes her way to the ring. She stares at the WrestleMania sign, then says she’s been debating for a few days now whose title she wants to take…Charlotte or Rebecca? She has unfinishe dbusiness with both. She says Becky doesn’t really deserve her attention because the biggest match any woma could possibly have, is with her. But Becky’s boring title reign doesn’t need her. As for Charlotte, she could take her title too but whoever she chooses needs to know that she’s the baddest big time bitch.

Becky Lynch comes out laughing and says Ronda is a little wirdo, calling her by her government name. And she loses all of her credibility when she says she can take any title she wants when Becky’s already beaten her. Look, she doesn’t care if Ronda choose Charlotte because she’d understand if she needs a starter before she has the main course. Regardless, time is money, so she wants to know who she’s choosing. Ronda grabs Becky’s wirst and throws her. Ronda holds the wrist and says “you’ll get my answer on Friday and throws the microphone.”

Rousey leaves and Lynch says it’s official, Ronda is afriad of Big Time Becks. Or maybe she’s as desperate to get out of Cincinatti as she is. Suddenly Lita comes out! Lita says that was very rude and Becky says she’s been trying to tell people that about Ronny for four years. Lita says Becky is the GOAT and blazed a real trail that even saw women main event WrestleMania. Becky says that means a lot coming from a real legend like Lita – she may have gotten trouble once or twice for wearing her thong above her tousers like Lita.

Lita says she respects Becky and she never backs down from a challenge…. so how about they go one-on-one at Elimination Chamber? Becky immediately says no and starts justifying herself. Lita says that’s fine but if she’s scared she should really just say so. Becky takes the bait and says she’s not scared, she’ll fight her at Elimination Chamber. Lita smiles and walks off as Becky looks stunned at herself.

That’s it for this week’s RAW, let us know what you thought of the show and we’ll see you back here tomorrow night for NXT. Until next time, stay safe.
