Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and became one of the mainstays of the company since then. He is also confident when it comes to AEW getting more fans due to its diverse product. It seems Tony Khan commented on his return as well.

Jon Moxley’s body underwent a lot of wear and tear over the years of him competing in various violent matches. It led to him developing substance abuse issues and he entered into rehab for alcohol addiction.

After almost three months away from the squared circle, the former AEW World Champion made his return during a previous week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Moxley cut a passionate promo where he talked about conquering his demons and encouraged fans to do the same.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, AEW President Tony Khan talked about Jon Moxley’s return to AEW television. Khan stated that he believes Moxley looks the best he has ever looked in AEW.

“To have Jon Moxley back in AEW is so important, but also just to see him made me smile and made me so happy. I really do love John and I missed him very much, it was was hard not having him. It was emotional in many ways, certainly, I think for the fans, they really missed John also.

And I think John missed wrestling and missed the fans. I think you could see that when he was back out there. He had a great comeback match last Friday on Rampage and now John is back here in AEW. It is great having him back on the road with us.

Clearly again, the fans had missed him. Things are just really shaping up for a huge 2022, I think. With Mox back, now in January, healthier, happier, looking just better than ever, certainly the best he’s ever looked in AEW, I think. It bodes really well for us for this next year. We got great numbers for his return.

We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Jon Moxley, now that he is back and better than ever as fans are just happy to see him compete again.
