Roman Reigns Claims He Can Easily Pull Off Seth Rollins’ Drip Gimmick

Roman Reigns is on a roll since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam last year. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans clamored for it for so long. 

The Head of the Table has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.

Seth Rollins’ current gimmick sees him proclaim himself as the Drip God as he continues to wear outrageous suits on a weekly basis. While speaking on the SI Media podcast, Roman Reigns was asked if he could make Seth Rollins’ gimmick work. Reigns made it clear he could easily pull it off.

“You never seen me on a red carpet? Have you never seen me even in media? I was doing this drip thing before drip was drip. These young kids, they think they’ve started something. We can go in the closet right now and, it’s like, we’re fingering through all these suits. Hey, is there money stashed in it? Probably a little bit of money stashed in it.

I could absolutely do anything I wanted as long as I put my mind to it. My suits are something you could wear every single day and it would still be like, ‘Oh, damn!’ You know what I mean? Everytime I wear a suit, Paul Heyman’s jaw drops!”

Seth Rollins is set to take on Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble event on January 29th. It remains to be seen whether he will win the match or not.
