Eric Bischoff is one of the most notorious names in professional wrestling. Under his leadership, WCW went on an unprecedented string of ratings dominance over rival WWE. Things didn’t ultimately work out for World Championship Wrestling, but Bischoff has gone on to a great career as a podcaster and on-screen character in WWE.

WWE brought in Bischoff for a cameo on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. Eric isn’t in a prominent role with the company for now. That doesn’t mean he isn’t grateful to appear before the WWE Universe.

Eric discussed what it felt like to be back on the latest 83 Weeks podcast. Bischoff said he had a blast. The former WCW head enjoys performing for the fans.

“Certainly, getting out in front of a crowd, feeling that energy, and just being a part of it in a small way scratches the performer’s itch in me, however big or small a segment that I’m involved in is. I’m just always grateful for it. It’s a blast. I get to come home and I don’t have to do it again next week.”
