Kofi Kingston Distraught After Big E’s WWE Title Loss At Day 1

Big E’s journey to the top of WWE has been one full of hurdles and obstacles at every step of the way. After a solid run in NXT, Big E made his way to the main roster but was eventually lost in the shuffle. The New Day breathed new life into Big E’s career and it eventually led him to the top of WWE. Now his time as WWE Champion is over.

At the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view, Big E defended his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar. In the end, Brock Lesnar defeated Big E to become the new WWE Champion.

New Day member Kofi Kingston took to Twitter and reacted to Big E’s loss. Kingston, who lost the title to Brock Lesnar as well back in 2019, was clearly sad that Big E lost.

He only placed one crying emoji in that tweet, but tons of fans realized what it meant. After all, Sir Kofi Kingston also suffered a WWE Title loss to the Beast Incarnate.

We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Big E as it is likely he will get a rematch for the WWE Championship.
