Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television after dropping the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. That changed at WWE SummerSlam, where he made his shocking return to WWE television and confronted Roman Reigns. Brock officially came back as babyface, much to the delight of fans.

Brock Lesnar squared off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WWE Crown. He would be defeated by Reigns after interference from The Usos. Naturally, he was very irate at this turn of events.

Lesnar was suspended after attacking Adam Pearce and referees but he came back this month after the suspension was lifted. Since then Lesnar has been out for blood. Lesnar was also seen breaking character in huge way during a recent public sighting.

While speaking to Rick Ucchino, Drew McIntyre talked about Brock Lesnar’s character and real personality outside of pro wrestling. McIntyre stated that he thinks Lesnar wanted to hide his current side from the world.

“We are getting it now, and it has all been a part of the Brock Lesnar journey and the Lesnar character arc that you knew he had this all along, and he has shown that serious side. People loved it at times and also loathed it. And now they are getting a chance to see a little bit that Brock did not want to be revealed.

That he can be a nice guy, he can be a funny guy. He kept that hidden as part of his presentation. For years, he had no desire for the world to know that, but now he is letting them in a little bit about how he is actually like. He is genuinely terrifying and a badass, but he can also be, you know, a good guy and highly entertaining. You get a character like Sami, and you put him with Brock – it is simply great television.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns’ feud as the Day 1 pay-per-view will be taking place on January 1st this year.
