Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy together formed The Hardy Boyz and are still regarded as one of the best tag teams in pro wrestling history. They are undoubtedly one of the most decorated tag teams in the business as they have won tag team gold in several companies.

Jeff Hardy was released earlier this month from WWE. To add to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it.

After his release, many fans wondered if The Hardy Boyz will have a reunion in AEW. While speaking with Essentially Sports, Matt Hardy talked about his brother coming to WWE. Hardy hinted at a Hardy Boyz vs Sting & Darby Allin match in AEW.

“I think he’s helped Darby Allin out so much and they both help one another up. Darby’s youthful enthusiasm helps Sting out as well. And I love them together as a team. And I don’t know if one day sometime in the future the Hardy Boyz ever reform in AEW, I would love to do the Hardy Boyz versus Darby Allin and Sting.”
