Triple H has been more visible recently. In September, The Game underwent a procedure for a serious cardiac event. Footage of Hunter touring the site of the new WWE headquarters recently surfaced, and he’s been talking to the media about the new WWE collegiate NIL program, so he’s been working at least part-time.

Shawn Michaels recently talked to Jim Varsallone. He gave an update on Triple H’s health. He also said that he hasn’t returned to NXT just yet.

“Right now, for me, I’ve told him, ‘I don’t care how good you are, you stay away, get healthy, concentrate on you.’ The thing is, he put in a fabulous team here and that’s why it’s able to continue on without him because he put phenomenal people in place.

I’m just the guy that gets to expedite everything and run traffic. The team he put in place was prepared for these kind of days and we want him to get healthy. He doesn’t have anything to worry about, we’ll be here when he gets back.”

HBK wants his friend to take his time before he comes back. Michaels has become a lynchpin at NXT. He frequently speaks highly of the talent and work ethic of everyone involved with the brand.

Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that many employees are unhappy with their jobs at NXT. The upcoming WarGames PPV will be a pivotal moment as the rebranded NXT tries to establish itself going forward. So far, the results of the NXT 2.0 experiment have been a mixed bag at best.

When do you think Triple H will return to NXT? Let us know in the comments!
