WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him role. Angle also revealed the exorbitant amount of money he’d need to wrestle one more match. It seems Vince McMahon always wanted him to stay a heel in WWE.

Kurt Angle had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches. This is because he faced off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer.

Angle has excelled in his roles as both a babyface and heel in WWE. However, he remained a heel for the majority of his run in the company and it seems there was a good reason for that.

While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall Of Famer talked about his character during Survivor Series 2001, where he turned heel again. Angle revealed that he stayed heel for most of his run because Vince McMahon wanted that.

“The reason was Vince McMahon always wanted me to end up being a heel. He really just loved me as a heel. He enjoyed watching me as a heel. He always put me in a situation where I would become the heel.”

Vince McMahon also made Angle memorize 3-page script in 10 minutes. Kurt Angle is enjoying his life in retirement after WrestleMania 35. We certainly wonder if he will make his return to pro wrestling one way or the other.
