AEW will have to fill Jim Ross’ chair for the next few week. He will be out of action while getting radiation treatment for skin cancer. The response to his health situation brought out all kinds of responses.
Jim Ross tweeted out to say, “Due to my skin cancer care totaling 22 radiation treatments starting Monday, I will hopefully return to the announce desk on December 29 in Jacksonville.” A ton of people tweeted back to support him, including Tony Khan.
The Rock also saw Jim Ross’ post. The Great One fired back his own reply that was full of encouragement for the WWE Hall of Famer.

No steak eaters
Jim Ross said he will be back for AEW New Year’s Smash in Jacksonville, Florida. He obviously hates missing work, especially for these reasons. Hopefully, Good ‘ole JR will return to work with a clean bill of health very soon.
