Bryan Danielson fought hard just to get back into the squared circle after his WWE career was cut short. He finally did return and finished out his deal with Vince McMahon’s company. Then he decided to wrap up his career as a pro wrestler and not a sports entertainer.

Danielson has a young family and he obviously wants more time at home. This was a very important aspect of his last talks with WWE. His years in the ring are far from over, but he still has plans to step things back a bit.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Bryan Danielson opened up about this stage in his career. He inked a three-year deal with All Elite Wrestling. He also considers that the final full-time contract of his career.

“I signed a three year contract with AEW. I consider these kind of like my final three years as a full time wrestler, but also, not just like, ok, this me winding down. This to me is the peak. This is going to be the best that I’m ever going to be in ending my full time career at that, ending it as the best version of myself.”

We’ll have to see what Bryan Danielson does next. Odds are he will always have a ring to wrestle in, but he might not want to make the travel every week to perform. Only time will tell if he decides to stick around on a full-time basis for one more contract, but he is certainly making the most of things.
