CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut a few months ago at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. This was move that created a lot of buzz for the company. Tony Schiavone considered it the greatest debut in pro wrestling history.

CM Punk chose Darby Allin as his first opponent as the two clashed at AEW All Out. It was Punk’s first match since 2014 and many wondered how he’d perform. Thankfully, CM Punk performed as well as fans expected. In the end, CM Punk defeated Darby Allin as well.

While speaking with Bleacher Report, Darby Allin gave huge props to CM Punk’s mentality about being a man of few words. Allin revealed how he and CM Punk share similarities as well.

“I just like the way he carries himself. I like the way he doesn’t talk to a lot of people because I don’t either. I like letting little people into your personal space. It’s very important.”
