AEW Planning Huge Britt Baker Match For Revolution Next Year

One of the featured feuds on AEW television for the past month saw Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker engage in a very heated blood feud. The stakes were raised higher in each of their encounters. It seems AEW is planning a huge match for the two next year.

Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa squared off against each other in an unsanctioned Lights Out match earlier this year. They took each other to the limit and put on a match that truly elevated both competitors and the AEW women’s division as a whole.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that there is a huge Britt Baker vs Thunder Rosa match being planned for next year. It has always been the plan and it is likely to take place in March, which will be in time for AEW Revolution.

“I always suspect that there’s a big Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa match coming early next year. I think that’s always kinda been the plan. So, that would probably be the March pay-per-view, maybe.”

Thunder Rosa defeated Jamie Hayter on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite and advanced into the next round of the TBS Women’s Title tournament. It remains to be seen how AEW will book Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker’s next program.
