Darby Allin Reveals His Favorite Match In AEW So Far

MJF established himself as one of the best heels in the modern-day pro wrestling world and there is a very good reason for that. He quickly cemented himself as top star and remains one of the highlights of AEW television since the debut of AEW Dynamite back in 2019. It seems Darby Allin really loved his match against MJF recently.

MJF and Darby Allin engaged in a feud that became one of the best programs either competitor has been in during their career. MJF ultimately defeated Allin at AEW Full Gear. Many praised the match as the best in the entire show as well.

While speaking to Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, Darby Allin talked about his AEW Full Gear match against MJF. Allin claimed that the match is just favorite match in AEW so far.

“In a weird way, I know it sounds crazy, but it has to rank number one. In a weird way, only because I don’t like to give Max that credit. The whole thing with that is going into the match, I had a lot to prove mentally because there’s all these new faces coming to AEW. We had to prove to them, the audience, that the pillars, so to speak, are going to steal the show. We did just that. So it’s good not to get lost in the shuffle in these times.”

MJF’s stock continues to rise in AEW and by the time 2024 rolls around, it is likely a bidding war will start for him. As for Darby Allin, it remains to be seen what is next in store for him.
