AEW Gives Super Fan The Night Of His Life

A lucky fan recently got the VIP treatment when he attended AEW Dynamite in St. Louis. Derek is huge AEW fan and TikTokker with over 2.7 million followers, had the red carpet rolled out by the company. He even got to walk down the entrance ramp in front of early-arriving fans who cheered him on.

He got to visit the backstage area, where he met AEW President Tony Khan, Ruby Soho, and even his personal hero, CM Punk. He shared videos of all his favorite moments, but Punk took the cake. Derek had a conversation with the Second City Saint, where he told him he was his hero.

Derek was emotional when Punk approached. He said Punk was his hero and favorite wrestler. Punk then put over Derek’s TikTok success. Punk checked with Cody to make sure Derek was being consistent. Cody confirmed that Derek told him CM Punk was his favorite.

In a funny moment, Punk asked if Derek’s met Ruby Riott, her WWE name. The fan was visibly emotional and even genuflected as he called Punk the “best in the world.”

He then shared a big hug with Ruby Soho. He introduced himself the star. Derek said he remembers her work with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan in WWE. Ruby said they were her best pals.
