Malakai Black’s absence from the Big Event convention in New York was earlier explained to be a result of injuries sustained during Full Gear. There are now updates on Malakai’s situation.

As per a PW Insider report, Malakai is “doing well” after sustaining said injuries. However, there is still no news about the nature of these injuries.

Malakai Black and Andrade El Idolo suffered a defeat to Cody Rhodes and PAC at Full Gear, with PAC scoring the pinfall over Andrade.

Malakai and Eddie Kingston were both set to make an appearance at the Big Event convention the day after Full Gear, but were both absent due to injuries. Kingston has confirmed that he will be back in the ring soon, despite his shoulder injury.
