WWE released loads of employees, including WWE Superstars, over the past several months. This recent trend jumpstarted on April 15th, the same day that they axed several people last year. The IIconics and more were part of those cuts

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were released back in April. Many fans were shocked at this outcome as they still had a lot of potential. After many months of waiting, Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay finally signed with Impact Wrestling.

Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay finally made their debut with Impact Wrestling during the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. They ended up winning the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Titles.

While speaking on The Wrestling Daily, the IInspiration explained why they prefer working only in Impact Wrestling for now and necessarily care about the forbidden door.

“For right now, yes, there are incredible companies and other wrestlers and entertainers out there before right now our hearts are with IMPACT. They’ve given us this opportunity and we don’t let them down we wanted to live off and we have so much more in store for the IInspairation that we can’t wait to show the world exclusively at IMPACT we that’s our focus right now. That’s where our heart is we’re putting all of our time and energy into IMPACT, investing. I’ve always been thinking about the future but I honestly mean it when I say I haven’t been these past six months because I’ve been so happy with living in the moment and for the first time in my life not stressing about what’s going to happen six months, a year, two years, five years down the road and it’s been extremely fulfilling for me to do that and it’s great on our mental health.”

The IInspiration are set to compete in their first match on Impact Wrestling television as they will take on the Undead Brides. We will have to wait and see how they will be booked as the champions in the coming months.
