Jay Lethal debuted for AEW at Full Gear and he is set to have his first match with the company for the TNT Title on Wednesday’s Dynamite. In the time since his debut, an old allegation resurfaced.

Taeler Hendrix alleged that she turned down Lethal’s advances and that caused her to lose her push in ROH. Plenty of fans remember this story from 2018, and they brought it up on social media following Lethal’s AEW signing.

“Damn they hiring jay lethal after speaking out and yall (journalists too) eating it up,” one fan tweeted out about the reaction to Lethal’s AEW signing.

“Taeler Hendrix hasn’t been booked or signed by any major promotion since speaking out about her abuse and harassment in ROH yet the abuser Jay Lethal is now signed to #AEW it says a lot about them and the wrestling world all together,” another fan tweeted out.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
