Mustafa Ali Reveals Nixed WWE Storyline Idea With Controversial Promo Video

Mustafa Ali has a lot to say and he let it out in a promo video unlike anything we’ve seen before. Sadly, it doesn’t appear that this promo will become WWE canon.

Ali has tried for years to gain acceptance with the WWE fan base. This was a point he made in this new video where he campaigned for a new America. He didn’t correct people when they mispronounced “Mustafa” for years, he watched what he wore because he didn’t want to look suspicious, and he also let so many jokes slide. Those days would have been over had WWE allowed this promo to air.

While dropping this epic video promo, Mustafa Ali added a caption that really said everything he needed to.

a few weeks ago, i made a statement that some deemed controversial. my intentions were to bring a beautiful vision to life. unfortunately, for reasons beyond my control, i won’t be able to make that vision a reality. but i can share with you what could have been.
