Paige VanZant is sensation in the MMA world. As she ended her working relationship with the UFC in 2020 after delivering some of the most intense fights ever seen, she’s currently working with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. She is under a four-fight contract, of which she’s fought two.

The 27-year old has been part of the AEW programming since a while. Being involved in Chris Jericho’s feud with America’s Top Team, Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page, Paige has received a lot of positive feedback from many of the fans and AEW members.

VanZant is part of the America’s Top Team, which features Kayla Harrison, Junior dos Santos, Austin Vanderford, Andrei Arlovski and Dan Lambert. The idea behind the team is that it has the top members of the MMA promotions such as UFC, PFL, Bellator and BKFC.

During a media teleconference, Tony Khan said he is hoping that VanZant can be a bigger part of AEW. He applauded her and put her over fans, while hoping that she can be a stronger component of the promotion.
