Drew McIntyre Wants To Wait Until The Time Is Right To Face Roman Reigns

Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion. He also has good relationship with Vince McMahon. McIntyre also has a hilarious reason for all the stories he tells.

Drew McIntyre has faced off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer. This also includes WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The two squared off against each other at Survivor Series and it took Reigns a lot of outside interference and several finishers to put McIntyre down for the win. McIntyre previously made it clear he isn’t done with The Tribal Chief just yet.

While speaking to Sky Sports, Drew McIntyre made it clear that he wants to wait until the time is right for him to square off against Roman Reigns. TIll then, he will keep on building momentum.

Everyone keeps saying to me, ‘it’s Drew and Roman, that is obviously what will happen. I am sure it is inevitably going to happen, but I have no desire for it to happen right now. He has got all this momentum and I am a very patient man. I have been in the wrestling game for over 20 years now. I want to keep building up victories.

I want to keep building up momentum. He is aware of what I am capable of these days, and I want him to have to watch me build up momentum and when the time is right we come together. It will definitely be a huge match for us as Superstars but especially for the fans. Not until the time is right, though.”

Jimmy Korderas also previously said that Drew McIntyre should help elevate Roman Reigns. It remains to be seen when the two will clash again now that Drew McIntyre is on Friday Night Smackdown. Fans would love to see the two square off against each other again as McIntyre is a credible opponent.
