WWE released another round of Superstars this week and that news obviously made its way to AEW. Max Caster of The Acclaimed is known to take jabs during his entrance as he raps his way to the ring. This week was no different.

Max Caster said to Bryan Danielson in his rap that he “ends careers faster than your father-in-law.” Of course, Johnny Ace is Danielson’s father-in-law, and he made some tough calls this week to inform Superstars of their release.

Caster is known to take shot at WWE, but this was a direct reference to Johnny Ace wishing Superstars the best in their future endeavors. The fact that Caster mentioned this tonight seemed like a direct shot at WWE releasing 17 Superstars on the same day they reported profits across the board in their 3rd quarter 2021 earnings report.

The match that followed saw Anthony Bowens take on the former leader of the Yes Movement. Caster certainly made it known that The Acclaimed have arrived despite Bowens’ loss. AEW is also not going to shy away from Danielson’s family.
