Many fans are simply tired of Charlotte Flair’s current booking in WWE. She remains criticized for receiving too many title shots, which more deserving competitors should have gotten. In spite of all the outrage, WWE is set on pushing Flair to the moon and that is unlikely to stop anytime soon. It seems Flair’s beef with Lynch has drawn an interesting comparison.

Regardless, it cannot be argued that Charlotte Flair is one of the best female in-ring performers in the company and that she has competed in several historic matches in the company. She got into a verbal confrontation with Becky Lynch last week on Smackdown.

It was said that Charlotte Flair had backstage heat on her as well. In addition to that, Charlotte Flair also had a huge argument with Sonya Deville. In fact, Deville was so mad she wanted to fight Flair.

While speaking on The Wrestling Inc. Daily, former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas talked about Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch’s recent backstage confrontation and their beef. Korderas said that such incidents are rare nowadays unlike back in the day, using the legendary rivalry between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels and a backstage altercation between Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle as an example.

“I think in today’s day and age, it is a rarity. It was a little more, I don’t want to say it was frequent back in the day, but stuff like that happened. We know about the issues with Shawn [Michaels] and Bret [Hart], and there was one I was witness to after a match at SmackDown one day between Eddie [Guerrero] and Kurt Angle, who got into it backstage before Big Show broke it up. It got physical. Sometimes things get heated, for whatever reason it is, whether it’s ego, whether something happened in the match, whatever the case may be, something was said that wasn’t supposed to be said.”

Many fans and pro wrestlers alike also didn’t like the title exchange that took place between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown either. Flair is currently engaged in a program with Sasha Banks while Becky Lynch is perfectly happy on Monday Night RAW. It is unlikely their beef with end anytime soon.
