WWE has a lot of things going on for the remainder of 2021, but it doesn’t look like another TakeOver special is coming. The company just rebranded NXT into NXT 2.0 and Halloween Havoc is coming on October 26th. That might be the only special event we have to look forward to for the developmental brand.

According to a report from PW Insider, WWE hasn’t listed any NXT TakeOver event on their internal calendar. It looks like we could go the rest of 2021 without another TakeOver special.

Also, for those who have asked, there is currently no WWE NXT Takeover PPV listed internally for November or December.

NXT could change their idea of TakeOver specials along with the very brand itself. We will stay posted on this story, because it would be a shame if WWE stopped producing those specials all together.
