It’s Tuesday night and that means a brand new episode of WWE NXT 2.0 for October 19th, and Ringside News has you covered with live play-by-play results coverage. Start time for NXT is at 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

Tonight’s NXT comes one week before the big Halloween Havoc show. As such, Tommaso Ciampa is teaming with the number one contender to his title, Bron Breakker, to take on Grizzled Young Veterans. Can Breakker and Ciampa work together, or will the tension boil over a week before their big showdown? Also we should hear from the new North American Champion, Carmelo Hayes, and something tells us Santos Escobar will be sniffing around.

At Halloween Havoc, Io Shirai & Zoey Stark will defend their Women’s Tag Team Titles against the teams of Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta, and Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne. Tonight however, one member of each team will compete in a Triple Threat, and the winner will get to spin the wheel of stipulations at Halloween Havoc. So this is a big important match ahead of next week, and which team do you see getting the advantage?

That’s the preview for tonight’s NXT. Our live coverage will begin from 8PM right here. Let us know if you’re excited about any of it and remember to hit the refresh link below and enjoy the show!

NXT 2.0

This week’s NXT opens with a look back at last week’s main event where Isaiah “Swerve” Scott defeated Santos Escobar to retain the North American Championship, but was then defeated by Carmelo Hayes with his Championship contract.

We go live to the Capitol Wrestling Centre and out comes the North American Champion, Carmelo Hayes, alongside Trick Williams. Trick says he and ‘Melo look good with the gold. And tonight they’re having a celebration. Hayes says four months ago he stepped on the scene, blew through the competition of the Breakout Tournament and proved he was the final boss. For two months he waited for the right moment to take what was his, and last week he pulled a swerve.

When ‘Melo shoots he scores, and from now on he’s the team captain. The leader of the new school. And as long as he’s Champion, this is the A Championship and he doesn’t care who has a problem with it. Johnny Gargano makes his way out to the ring and the fans chant “welcome back”. Gargano introduces himself and says he’s had his eye on Hayes. And, as someone whose held that title more than anyone, he wants to congratulate ‘Melo. Johnny says he’s lost his Way, so he’s trying to figure out what’s next and he thinks it’s staring him in the face.

Johnny needs to do what he was put on Earth to do: be in the ring against someone like Hayes. He asks for a shot and Trick tells him to worry about Indi because she’s been in ‘Melo’s DM’s all week. Gargano plays along for a minute until his “son-in-law”, Dexter Lumis, appears behind them and grabs Hayes with The Silence. Hayes and Trick get out of the ring and Lumis scares them off while Johnny lifts the North American Championship.
