Becky Lynch facing Ronda Rousey in a one-on-one contest is a dream match that never took place. They had many physical encounters, and went on to step in the ring together as part of a triple threat match in the main event of WrestleMania 35, also involving Charlotte Flair. You can never say never in WWE.

Becky Lynch took some time off WWE after discovering that she was pregnant. She relinquished the Raw Women’s title to Asuka on the May 11th, 2020 episode of Raw. She eventually made her return at SummerSlam on August 21st 2021 after a 15-month hiatus to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Bianca Belair.

Becky Lynch recently made an appearance on the Out of Character podcast where she spoke about the must-see fantasy matchup against Ronda Rousey. According to Lynch, she still believes they would both face off against each other in a singles match. Since Lynch made her return after pregnancy and even went on to win a championship, she believes that Rousey would want to one up her and do the same.

“Yeah, and I do think it will. The fact that I’ve had a baby and came back so great that she’ll probably want to one up me and she’ll try to come back in three months. Then I’ll be right there to punch her right in the face, give her a Rock Bottom, out of here in 20 seconds, Ronda.”

Considering that Rousey was already getting back into shape just after a week of celebrating the birth of her first child, the scenario of her returning doesn’t seem too unlikely. The competition between the two women is intense inside and outside of the ring, and it remains to be seen when these two could likely face off each other.
