WWE has a lot of things going at once and that includes a women’s division on every brand that needs attention. Some people are not too pleased by how WWE has treated their women’s division in recent memory and that has apparently caused some frustration backstage.

Carmella defeated Liv Morgan this week on SmackDown, but that was the result of plans changing backstage. It is unknown why the win was taken away from the former Riott Squad member, but Carmella is advancing in the Queen’s Crown tournament to face Zelina Vega next week in the semi-finals.

According to a report from Fightful Select, there is growing frustration within WWE about how the company is treating their women’s division. At this time there isn’t much more information, but this could just be the tip of the iceberg.

We’ve heard significant frustration from talent and staff alike about the booking of the women’s division of late, and the time given in multiple situations.

WWE is holding a historic tournament for the women right now, so this seems like the perfect time to spotlight the division. The first Queen’s Crown winner will be declared in Saudi Arabia at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21st.

Sadly, it seems as if they are not getting the focus that so many fought for, especially if you consider how the company touted their Women’s Evolution in such a tremendous way.
