AEW concluded this week’s show with a Casino Ladder Match. Hangman Page made his return to the company and he won the big poker chip to solidify his shot at the AEW World Title. During that match, Pac took a Deadeye from a ladder through a table and that was a dangerous spot indeed, much riskier than some first thought.
On Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry discussed that spot and he opened up a little about Pac’s condition. Apparently, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has suffered a concussion in recent memory, something that hadn’t been previously stated.
“I would not have had a guy that was injured recently take a big bump off the top of the ladder tot he floor, on his back. I watched his head snap back and hit the mat, and he just had a concussion like a month and a half ago.”
“I mean, I’m probably breaking HIPAA laws, but everybody saw that.”
Pac seems to be fine after that Casino Ladder Match, but the risk was still a great one for him. Hopefully, he can avoid any further concussions, because brain injuries have stopped plenty of careers short, especially in modern day pro wrestling.
