It’s Tuesday night and that means a brand new episode of WWE NXT for October 5th, and Ringside News has you covered with live play-by-play results coverage.
Start time for NXT is at 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

Tonight’s NXT will kick-off with Mandy Rose taking on Ember Moon. WWE seems pretty high on Rose and her group, Toxic Attraction, and she’s heading straight into a title feud with Raquel Gonzalez. That’s not all for the ladies however, as we can also expect another edition of Lashing Out with Lash Legend, and Cora Jade will make her in-ring debut.

Also making their debut tonight is the Soprano character, Tony D’Angelo, who looks to start his career off right. MSK will team with new boys Josh Briggs and Brooks Jenson to face Grizzled Young Veterans, Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes. And finally we’re getting treated to L.A Knight Vs. Odyssey Jones. There will likely be lots more that’s currently unannounced but it’s sure to be an action-heavy episode of NXT 2.0.

NXT 2.0

Toxic Attraction come out to the boo’s of the Capitol Wrestling Centre. Her opponent is out next wearing a glow-in-the-dark mask.

Mandy Rose W/Toxic Attraction Vs. Ember Moon

The match gets underway and Rose takes a side headlock. Moon shoots her off and hits a forearm to drop her. Moon jumps over Rose but gets slapped in the face. Rose talks trash but Moon clobbers her with a forearm, then hangs her in the tree of woe and kicks her in the back a few times but Gigi Dolan drags Rose out of the ring.

As Toxic Attraction regroup, Moon comes flying through the ropes with a suicide dive to Jayne! Rose attempts a huricanrana but Moon holds her up and hits a powerbomb onto the apron! Moon gets Rose back inside but takse a moment to shove Dolan onto her ass. Moon gets back inside but Rose attacks her. Mandy hits a unique inverted suplex, then beats Moon in the corner before applying a body scissors.

Moon gets herself free but Mandy gets her in an abdominal stretch and elbows Ember’s ribs. Moon hits a hip toss to get out of the hold, hits a discus forearm, then an enziguiri. Moon goes up top and jumps off for a Codebreaker. Ember goes to the top rope for the Eclipse but Rose avoids her, then connects with a leaping knee for the win!

Winner: Mandy Rose

The announcers ask how Beth Phoenix is feeling after Seth Rollins invaded their home. Beth says all she can say is that “Adam will handle our business”.

*Commercial Break*

Odyssey Jones Vs. L.A Knight

The match gets underway and Knight is reluctant to lock-up with Jones. He ducks and dodges him, then punches him with a right and taunts. Jones roars and backs Knight up but again LA hits a right hand. Jones grabs and throws him into the corner, then clubs him and hits another throw across the ring. Knight goes outside to regroup, and when he gets back in he beats Odyssey down. Knight hangs Jones on the middle rope and chokes him while drilling him with forearms to the back.

Knight hits a running knee and follows-up with a leaping elbow drop for a one-count and Jones tosses him off. Knight is cocky and wants a body slam and he gets Odyssey up but collapses with the big man on top of him. Jones lands some punches, lariat, and a gutbuster. Suddenly Andre Chase appears and distracts Odyssey, allowing Knight to hit a neckreaker. Knight covers and Chase puses Jones’s foot away from the ropes to ensure he loses.

Winner: L.A Knight

Cameron Grimes is interviewed backstage and he says love is in the air in NXT. You have InDex and their beautiful wedding, as well as Cora Jade and Trey Baxter making out everywhere. He’s jealous and so he’s on the prowl for a lucky lady. Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland appear and Dunne says things may be changing around NXT but he’s still the baddest man around. He challenges Griems to a match but he just walks off and tries to hit on two women.

*Commercial Break*

Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagoner are in the locker room and O’Reilly asks why he’s rescued him twice. Wagoner says he doesn’t like Dunne or Holland but he respects O’Reilly, he has heart. O’Reilly says, after the past year, he can’t trust anybody, so he appreciates it but he stay out of his business.

NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa, comes to the ring. Ciampa says Halloween Havoc is returning to NXT later this month and the Champ needs an opponent. One man in particular claims he’s not planning on waiting long to become Champion but actions speak louder than words, so who has the balls to come out and confront him?

Bron Breakker comes out. Breakker says he’s treated Ciampa with nothing but respect but he doesn’t give a damn how long he’s been in NXT, he wants to be the Champion. And he has the biggest balls in the locker room, so it’s obvious it should be them at Halloween Havoc. Ciampa says the difference between them is that Breakker wants the titles but he needs it. To Breakker the title is a stepping stone to something bigger but to Ciampa it is the pinnacle. Halloween Havoc is three weeks away, so Breakker has three weeks to go from intern to PhD. Challenge accepted.

Joe Gacy cuts a promo backstage. He says while yesterday the world sat still when social media crashed, he still had his voice. The voice of a generation of diversity. And he knows one platform that will never crash: NXT. Tonight he will congregate in the safe space and come to a peaceful resolution with someone and there can be two winners.

*Commercial Break*

We see Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta backstage and Indi says Dexter isn’there tonight because she wore him out. They went through two packets and Persia asks what size he is and Indi says he’s a 9. They see smoke coming from a ring and when they open the door they see Boa and Mei Ying on a chair. Boa shouts at them to leave.

Ikemen Jiro Vs. Joe Gacy

Gacy shakes Ikemen’s hand at the start. Jiro takes a headlock but gets shot off and Gacy shoulders him down. Gacy apologises, then suggest Ikemen try again. Jiro hits a headscissors, then Gacy avoids him. Gacy offers another handshake but this time he whips Jiro to the corner and splashes him. Gacy hits a suplex and smiles at his work.

He looks for a body slam but Jrio hits an Edgecutor. Jiro hits Gacy with his jacket several times, then a neck snap with his feet. The fans are loving Ikemen Jiro for some reason. Gacy goes up top but Ikemen catches him with an inverted hurricanrana. Gacy avoids Ikemen’s flying kick and hits a handspring clothesline for the win.

Winner: Joe Gacy

After the match Gacy lifts Jiro up and hugs him. Gacy leaves and applauds Ikemen. On his way up the ramp, Gacy sees an intense “fan” standing up and staring at him. They share a staredown and I’m pretty sure it’s the kid who looks like Brock Lesnar with tattoos.

Cora Jade makes her entrance to face a girl called Virginia Ferry. Before the match can begin, Franky Monet drags Ferry from the ring and beats the holy Hell out of her. Monet gets in the ring and Stone demands they start the match.

Cora Jade Vs. Franky Monet W/Robert Stone

The bell rings and Monet hits a big clothesline. Monet whips Jade to the ropes and lands another clothesline, then backs her into the corner and chops her, then kicks her down. Jade is whipped to the opposite corner and hit with double knees. Trey Baxter comes out to encourage his girlfriend but Monet sits on her back and bends her arms behind her while laughing at Baxter. Monet curb stomps Jade, then catches her with a huge spear. Monet looks for the Glam Slam but Jade rolls her up and wins!

Winner: Cora Jade

MSK are backstage for an interview but Grizzled Young Veterans appear and start berating them. MSK suggest tonight’s Tag Team Title match be elimination rules and GYV agree. Briggs and Jenen walk up and say they should just get things started now and start a brawl. Officials try to separate them.

*Commercial Break*

Tommaso Ciampa is backstage for an interview and up walks Joe Gacy. Joe says he heard Ciampa challenge anyone with the balls, well that’s very specific and toxic. Ciampa is speaking from a place of privelege and he things anyone should be allowed an opportunity. Ciampa says if Gacy can beat him next week, he can have a title shot. Gacy looks for a hug but Ciampa promises him the ring will not be a safe space for him next week.

Pete Dunne W/Ridge Holland Vs. Cameron Grimes

The match starts and Grimes takes a wristlock but Dunne rolls out and takes Grimes down with his wrist. Grimes gets out and taunts Dunne, then takes a headlock. Dunne shoots him off, leaps over Grimes and hits a clothesline. Dunne bends Grimes arm and stomps on the elbow. Dunne wraps the arm around the bottom rope and pulls it, then stomps it. Dunne takes Grimes down and bends the arms behind his back and targets the fingers.

Grimes tries to fight back but Dunne drops him with a forearm and a dropkick to the back. Dunne takes the wrist again but Cameron clubs him. Grimes hits some flying forearms and a clothesline in the corner, then goes to the top rope for a crossbody and a two-count. Grimes lifts Pete but gets elbowed off, then Dunne kicks him in the corner and drops a knee on his elbow. Dunne hits a German suplex and a kick to the head for a near-fall.

Dunne looks for an armbar but Grimes fights free, then does a backflip over Dunne directly into a German suplex for a near-fall! Dunne connects with an enziguiri and distracts the referee, allowing Holland to drag Grimes and start battering him on the apron. Kyle O’Reilly appears and attacks Holland but Dunne tosses him over the announce desk. Grimes gets Dunne inside and looks for the Cave-In but Dunne throws him up and over onto the top rope, then lnads the Bitter End fo the win.

Winner: Pete Dunne

After the match, O’Reilly returns and attacks Dunne but the numbers get the better of him. Holland lifts O’Reilly up, Dunne kicks him, and Holland slams him.

Tony D’Angelo cuts a promo in which he says he takes care of business. He debuts after the break.

*Commercial Break*

Hit Row are in the recording studio and they say they arn’t running from Legado Del Fantasma, they’re running to the money. SmackDown wanted them, and why wouldn’t they. Swerve says if Santos Escobar wants the North American Championship he cam come get it on a Friday night.

During the commercial break Von Wagoner came out and helped Kyle O’Reilly after he got beaten down by Holland and Dunne.

Malik Blade Vs. Tony D’Angelo

The match gets underway and they lock-up. D’Angelo is wearing a wife beater and seude sweatpants and he takes a side headlock. Blade tries to get him off but D’Angelo lands a clubbing forearm to the back, then a shoulder tackle. D’Angelo goes back to the headlock but Malik shoots him off. D’Angelo catches a flying Blade with a rib-breaker. D’Angelo lifts Malik by the ear but gets knocked back. Tony is sent from the ring and he runs around the ring and back inside where he tackles Blade down.

D’Angelo grabs a waistlock and Blade tries to fight him off but Tony shoves him into the buckles and kicks his back. Blade ducks and dodges some axe handles and hits a heel kick, then a flying clothesline and goes up top for a crossbody and a two-count. Blade with a roll-up and a two-cunt. D’Angelo begs for some mercy, then sucker punches Blade and hits a belly-to-belly. D’Angelo hits a northern lights suplex and rolls into a swinging neckbreaker for the win.

Winner: Tony D’Angelo

Carmelo Hayes and Trick are backstage for an interview. They say they’ve gotten into a Tag Team Title match and the best part is Hayes still has his contract. Hayes says he never misses and Trick says they’re about it.

*Commercial Break*

Mei Ying W/Boa Vs. Indi Hartwell W/Persia Perotta

The match egins and Indi looks to lock-up but Mei hits her. Indi grabs a leg but Ying flings her off. Indi reaches for her but Mei knocks Hartwell down and stomps her chest. Hartwell attemps a shoulder tackle but Mei doesn’t budge, then uppercuts Indi. Ying chokes Indi in the corner, then slaps her chest. Mei squeezes Hartwell’s traps and holds her down.

Indi fights up and lands some strikes but Mei knocks her down with a forearm. Mei grabs Indi by the neck and they stumble from the ring. Mei keeps holds of the choke, then shoves Hartwell into the ring post. Ying looks to kick Indi but Persia shoves Indi out of the way and takes the boot. Hartwell shoves Mei into the ring post, then puts Ying back inside and takes her down with a springboard clothesline for the win!

winner: Indi Hartwell

Lash Legend is backstage, giving tips to random people about how to be an influencer. Tony D’Angelo awlks in and says if she wants eyeballs on her show she should have him on. Legend says she’ll think about it and that she loved him on the new Soprano’s movie.

*Commercial Break*

NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez comes to the ring. Raquel says everyone might be talking about Toxic Attraction but Manyd has no idea who she’s messing with. She says Mandy has been around for a month, tops, but she’s been dominating for over a year. Gonzalez says the NXT Championship is not a fashion accessory, it’s proof that you are the best. Raquel wants Rose that if she touches her title agan she won’t be posing for the ‘Gram, she’ll be posing for a body cast.

Toxic Attraction come out and Mandy says she used to admire Raquel and says she’s sounding pretty damn desperate. She’s making idle threats and they’re falling at her feet. Gigi says it’s not Raquel’s fault, all three of them are Championship material and Raquel stares in awe. Gonzalez says she’s staring in awe at the staples in Gigi’s head she put there with her title. Dolan gets angry and runs around the ring to stare at Raquel.

Jacy says it looks like Raquel has been living under a rock, Toxic Attraction is everywhere and the face of NXT 2.0. Soon they will be holding all the gold in the division because they aren’t just Toxic Attraction, they are the attraction. All three women get on the apron, surrounding Gonzalez but out come Io Shirai and Zoey Stark to even the odds. Toxic Attraction back off.

Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagoner are backstage. Wagoner says next week it’s the two of them against Dunn enad Holland. Like it or not, he’s the only one who has Kyle’s back right now.

*Commercial Break*

Raquel Gonzalez is backstage with Io Shirai and Zoey Stark and Raquel says she doesn’t need help. Io says she doesn’t like Raquel but she likes Toxic Attraction even less. Stark tries to smoothe things over but Indi Hartwell and Persia Perotta appear and say they want the titles. Shirai says the only gold they will ever wear is in their ears.

NXT Tag Team Titles

Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match

(C) MSK Vs. Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen Vs. Grizzled Young Veterans Vs. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams

The main event gets underway with Wes Lee and Zack Gibson. They exchange holds and Nash Carter tags in for MSK to unleash a flurry of kicks. Carter hits a springboard arm-drag and Gibson backs-up. Carmelo tags himself in and hits an enziguiri, then a springboard clothesline and tags Trick. Williams and Hayes hit a double team shoulder tackles, then Trick helps Carmelo hit a springboard leg drop for a one-count.

Brooks tags in off Nash and Trick slaps him. Brooks lands right hands but Trick hits an uppercut and a flying lariat. Hayes tags back in and hits a leaping kick to the face, then wants a second but gets caught with an inverted atomic drop. Briggs tags in and teams with Jensen for a double flying shoulder. Trick rushes in but Briggs and Jensen drop him as well.

Jensen and Briggs bring Gibson and Drake into the ring as well and splash all the heels in the corners. All the heels bail from the ring so Briggs tags Wes Lee and tells him to do a flip. Wes obliges and flies over the ropes onto Hayes and Trick. Lee gets Trick back into the ring and MSK hit Trick with a blockbuster spinebuster for the pinfall and the first elimination.

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams Eliminated

*Commercial Break*

Back live and the Grizzled Young Veterans are beating on Wes Lee with double team moves and quick tags. Gibson trash talks Lee and chops him before tagging Drake. Lee kicks Gibson away, then sidesteps Drake and tags Carter. Nash comes in hot with clotheslines to GYV, then trips Drake and hits a German suplex. Carter hits a shining wizard and a running kick, then a standing shooting star press.

Gibson pulls Drake out of the ring but Nash hits a moonsault off the middle rope onto them both. Nash gets Drake back inside but Gibson tags himself in and they hit Ticket to Mayhem. They didn’t see Jensen tag himself in as well and they can’t pin Carter. Briggs rushes in and sends Drake out of the ring. Briggs and Jensen hit a double-team powerbomb for the pinfall!

Grizzled Young Veterans Eliminated

We’re down to two teams but Carter is gassed and he rolls outside. Wes Lee goes to work against Jensen with some quick offence but Briggs tags in and takes him down. The two newcomers beat Lee around the ring for a good minute and loom for the double team powerbomb again but Nash runs back in and tackles Briggs out of the ring. Lee rolls-up Jensen for the win!

Winners: MSK

After the match Briggs and Jensen aren’t very happy and thye grab the belts. They stands face-to-face with MSK and the fans chant “we want Mello”. As Briggs and Jensen leave, Imperium rush into the ring and attack MSK! Imperium beat them down until Jensen and Briggs run back down to run them off.
