Big Tease Dropped For Joker Card Spot In AEW Casino Ladder Match

AEW is holding a big match on the second anniversary show of Dynamite. The Casino Ladder match is returning and that could come with a big surprise. Former WWE Superstar Buddy Murphy, now Buddy Matthews, paid close attention to that.

Orange Cassidy, Matt Hardy, Pac, Andrade El Idolo, Jon Moxley, and Lance Archer are already announced for that match. Lance Archer also made it very clear that he is gunning for AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. They will also have to deal with a joker card spot.

Buddy Matthews must realize there is one spot to give in the Casino Ladder match. He is also never one to turn down some free publicity. This likely encouraged the former RAW Tag Team Champion to send out a simple tweet.

Matthews tweeted out an emoji of a joker card. He was seemingly implying that his name could be involved in that Casino Ladder match. We haven’t heard about any interest from AEW about bringing in Buddy Matthews, in fact, we heard it was the other way around.

It seems that Buddy Matthews could be on his way to Impact Wrestling, and that company is reportedly talking to some huge free agents at the same time. We’ll have to see what happens on AEW Dynamite, because anyone could show up at this point.
