Sammy Guevara pulled off a hard-fought victory over Miro this week in Rochester. Guevara had a chance to speak to the Rochester fans, and he only had one person on his mind. Rochester is Brodie Lee’s home city, the location that he was supposed to debut, but the pandemic stopped those plans from taking place. As the new TNT Champion celebrated after his big win, he paid tribute to another great man who held that title.

“Now my goal is to be one of the best TNT champions there ever was. Rochester, I gotta be honest with you, we know who the greatest TNT champion was.”

The crowd started chanting “Brodie” after that. This was a big night for a lot of people in Rochester, especially Brodie Lee.

Guevara also challenged Bobby Fish to a match on Dynamite next week. His first TNT Tile defense will be against Fish in his first AEW match. That will be an interesting situation, but whoever holds the TNT Title should realize that championship already holds a lot of history because such a great man held the title.
