AEW had to abide by New York’s regulations when they held their Grand Slam event last week. This included proof of vaccination for anyone in Arthur Ashe Stadium, and they set more limits after that. In fact, it even messed with CM Punk’s typical stage dive into the crowd.

The Second City Saint logged onto Twitter and he addressed a question that fans had about his entrance last week. He did not dive into the fans as he did in the past. It turns out that the New York Athletic Commission put the kibosh on that idea.

Taking this information into consideration, we shouldn’t expect to see CM Punk diving into the crowd in Rochester this week for Dynamite either. The fans will have to simply catch a glimpse of CM Punk from their seats, because he won’t be jumping into their laps.
