AEW produced a historic show for their company last week as they packed Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens. Grand Slam captured the attention of the pro wrestling world, and there was a lot going on backstage as well.

The latest episode of Being The Elite dropped on Monday morning, right on schedule. This episode was simply called “Grand Slam” as that Arthur Ashe Stadium show was the focus of the episode.

The episode started off with Christopher Daniels’ tease that the Fallen Angel has returned. We’ll have to see when he arrives next, but Daniels was reportedly at the last set of Impact Wrestling television tapings, a place where The Fallen Angel character reached its height.

Although AEW Grand Slam was a big deal for the company, The Young Bucks no-sold it by saying “you forget we did like seven Tokyo Dome shows in a row, this is like a house show.” They were sticking to those heel personas. but it was apparent that the Jackson Brothers were still excited.

Brandon Cutler also had his video camera going as the Superkliq wrestled at AEW Rampage Grand Slam. The shots he captured from the ring gives fans an idea of what it was like to stand in that ring surrounded by so many fans.

Being The Elite also included plenty of comedy skits this week, but the real focus of the episode remained on the Grand Slam event. It was certainly a big night for the company and Arthur Ashe Stadium reportedly can’t wait to have them back.
