Kenny Omega Wants To Show Roman Reigns What A Real Champion Is Like

Kenny Omega has not acknowledged Roman Reigns. The drastic change in character for Roman Reigns over the years remains one of the best changes in recent memory. He went from being an utterly dull babyface to one of the most compelling heels in WWE. He also isn’t stranger when it comes to accolades in the company.

Roman Reigns was simply unbearable for many when he was a babyface and fans and pro wrestlers alike agreed with this notion. This is in spite of the fact that Reigns competed in high profile matches against the best of the best.

Roman Reigns has been booked to perfection as the WWE Universal Champion according to many fans and was even ranked #2 in this year’s PWI top 500 wrestlers.

While speaking to Tokyo Sports, Kenny Omega was asked whether he has any particular WWE Superstar in mind that he wants to see join AEW. Omega stated that he wants to show Roman Reigns what a real champion is like.

We already have a lot of people coming in, so we don’t have a problem with opponents. I don’t have a specific opponent in mind, but if I had to say, Roman Reigns (WWE Universal Champion) would be a good opportunity for me to prove what a real champion is like.

Kenny Omega recently stated that Roman Reigns could have easily been #1 in the PWI 500 list as well. We wonder if Omega and Reigns will ever cross paths somewhere down the line.
