WWE wants to be very careful about what is said on their television shows. This means there is a list of words you cannot say on Vince McMahon’s programming. That list got a bit of an update.

F4WOnline provided an updated list of banned words. These words were reportedly given to talent, “who were promoting WrestleMania in Tampa, Florida.” Obviously, the list extends to hardcore profanities as well, but you will find a few interesting additions to the list like “Mofos” and “wifebeater.”

“Blood, choke, belt, strap, diva, head shot, trauma, kayfabe, Mofos, house show, DQ, The Anti-Diva, spinal injuries, victim, violence, violent, wrestling, wrestlers, WWF, wifebeater, curb stomp, phrases including the word “push” and “being over,” babyface, heel, job, jobber, card, strangle, kill and murder”

Some of those words make sense, but others are a bit interesting as well. Apparently, Superstars can talk about the card for a show, but they aren’t allowed to say the word “card.” It is notable that “spinal injuries” and “violence” made the list as well. Other insider pro wrestling terms are around, but you’ll likely never see “sports entertainment” pop up on that list.
