WWE and AEW are in the same pro wrestling market and that might see them visiting the same region within the same span of time. This is unavoidable, but one venue is about to get two weeks straight of pro wrestling.

AEW announced today that they are running a show on December 8th in the new UBS Arena in Long Island. CM Punk is front and center in the advertisement, so the Second City Savior will return to Long Island. The ticket on-sale date for that event is September 10th.

Interestingly enough, WWE is running RAW in that same venue one week prior on November 29th. It will be fun to see which company sells more tickets.

AEW is likely to stack their Long Island event full of big matches, and maybe even give it a special name. WWE is holding, what appears to be, a regular episode of the longest running weekly episodic television show in history.
